We start with the practical feedback from owners of 1800 Kimberley Kampers travelling throughout Australia . We have a depth of knowledge of the design requirements for Australian conditions.
We use professional design tools to optimize the strength of the Camper and it's weight. All new designs are done in SOLID Works 3D design software.
We use COSMOSWorks that offers a wide spectrum of specialized analysis tools to help engineers virtually test and analyze complicated parts and assemblies.
Powered by one of the fastest solvers in the industry, we input the load conditions and solve for linear stress, strain, displacement, thermal, design optimization, and fatigue.
This helps to shorten development time, reduce testing costs, improve product quality, and cut time to market.
We use multiple Design Scenarios such as material, restraints, loads, mesh size, contact resistance, and geometric dimension as parameters or parametric equations. Parameters are defined at the model level and can be used in various studies.
Finally, the design is tested with a working prototype and field tested. We use cameras and video technology to videotape the Camper and its travel on difficult roads .
The final assembly team are lead by an experienced foreman and team members take pride in identify each of the final units they work on with their signature and name. Design is simple but innovative. In the past these have included:
