Have you purchased a second hand Kimberley Kamper?

Customer Service is very important to us throughout the life of a Kimberley Kamper.

Here is the service we offer to you from the factory if you have purchased a second hand unit.

1. We will send you an updated maintenance and operating manual (currently 20 pages) at no charge.
2. We can supply or source the majority of parts in a used Kimberley Kamper back to 1994.
3. We can supply additional canvas sections such as the canvas mesh walls or sun awnings at our standard prices.
4. We can give you advice on the model and answer any of your questions.
5. Our dealers can supply boat loaders and Jerry Can upgrades on more recent models.

What we can't do for you:

1. Place a value on your second hand unit - our dealers are more in touch with this market
2. retrofit or factory upgrade your unit with newly released components - the compatibility of new components with older models sometimes creates more issues than they solve
3. Add the new Tropical Roof onto an existing Camper
4. Add a boat loader onto a unit that does not have the factory fitted female loader inserts installed on the Camper chassis.

What most second hand buyers want to know when they call us at the factory:

1. Can I change the hubs to match the wheels and tyres for my vehicle?
   
   If your Camper is from model year 2000 on, and is independent suspension, then yes you can change the hubs from 5 stud to 6 stud or vice versa so that a different wheel and tyre pattern can fit BUT you need to be aware that the swing arm lengths on a Kimberley Kamper come in different lengths to suit the face plate offset of the wheels. For example, the Toyota independent suspension wheels have a large positive offset and longer swing arms are fitted for these wheels. The Land rover and Discovery wheel bearing sizes vary for the specific type of hub.

2. Can I add a boat loader?
   
   If your Camper has factory installed female boat loader inserts on the drivers side of the chassis then you can add the boat loader. However, the "roof rack" when shipped with the boat loader is upgraded to have stronger reinforced end sections and over center catches mounted on the rack to secure the loader. If this upgraded rack is not installed, then you would need to upgrade it to be compatible with the boat loader.

3. Can I add canvas mesh walls to enclose the Camper?
   
   For most models from 1999 onwards we can still supply a section or complete set of canvas mesh walls for your Camper.

4. Can I upgrade the cooker on older models to the new 3 burner plus griller model?
   
   Unfortunately not. The gas fittings, and size of the new unit does not allow it to be located inside the pantry drawer of the older models.
   
5. Can I install the new diesel powered heater in older models?
   
   If your Camper is from 2002 onwards and has at least 130Ah of battery capacity, then yes it can be fitted. To price this, please call your closest dealer.
   
6. Can I install the new LED lighting to an older Camper?
   
   You can install LED lighting on 2004 Model Campers with Gullwing Storage Pak in the Gullwing Area only. This replaces the fluorescent light and adds lighting to the drivers side area.
   You can't retrofit the LED roof lighting or underbed lighting to existing Campers.
   
   
7. How do I clean the canvas?
   
   Our website has canvas instructions and it is also in our operating manual.
   
8. Can you send me a parts list?
   
   It is available on the website. Alternatively call us at the factory or see your closest dealer.
