Buying A Kimberley in 2008

To guide you through a selection of what may be the best choice for you, here are the questions we typically ask customers:

What size vehicle do you have?

If it is a small all wheel drive of 4 wheel drive then the SportsRV is the choice for you.

Will you be carrying a boat?

If you will, then any model is suitable but the Limited Edition will carry an outboard in the front Gullwing Storage Box. The models needs to be upfgraded to Fox shocks and Disc Brakes. (Electric brakes are unsafe with high loads in wet conditions).

Do you want large storage areas?

Then the Limited Edition or Platinum Models are suitable.

Do you want to carry a quad bike?

Then only the SportsRV is suitable.

Do you want room for 2 more adults or 3 children?

Then any model is suitable for the second bedroom.

Do you want Hot Water on demand with ability to pump out of stream or billabiong?

Then the Platinum Models has this as standard but it can be added to the Kimberley Kamper (base model) but not the Limited Edition nor the Sports RV.

All other questions regarding the size of your family, short or long stays can suit any model as the energy and canvas options can apply to any model.

A Kimberley Kamper Camper has a low cost of ownership.

By this we mean the Buying Price less what you sell it for when you are finished all your touring less the maintenance costs. Here is a real set of examples that does not include registration, insurance and other statutory charges.

The core unit of a Kimberley Kamper Camper Trailer which is the trailer body, the one piece liner, the Camper tent (canvas), the stainless pullout kitchen and the folding mechanism is the same in all models. This gives the waterproof, dustproof, ease of use features to all models.

What varies is the chassis, wheels and tyres, energy capacity, canvas options, size of the storage boxes and other komfort options.

The normal lead time on a Camper is 8-10 weeks but dealers do carry stock and dealers can vary their orders in production to accommodate urgent requests.
